In Arequipa, some dogs live on the roof of the home to serve as protection over the family. The mission team from Christ Church Plano call themselves the "Roof Dogs" because they feel that they are protectors over the children of Sagrada Familia and so the name has stuck! The team comes every February to spend the entire week with the kids since they are on summer break. There are lots of fun and games, laughter and love and even some tears now and then.
