Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a big deal in Peru.  On Friday, there were no classes.  Instead, the kids at Colegio San Lucas presented a 3 hour program to honor mothers!  There is a short video at the bottom.
First, a couple of the moms helped raise the Peruvian flag.
Then there was a service officiated by Padre Juan Carlos.  Padre Juan Marcos and Vicar Daniel were also there.

A couple of the older kids did the opening dance.
Diego Armando (on the left) getting ready for his part.
Rosa Maria in full swing.
Yasmin looks like she's having fun!

Tamara and Isela getting ready to perform.
Tamara (on the left) and Pamela (on the right).
Padre Juan Carlos goofing off with a gorilla.
Waldir dancing with his grade.

And finally, a special thank you to moms.  You can see Pamela on the far right and Isela in the back.

This is a video of one of the traditional Peruvian dances performed by the kids.  Tamara, Pamela and Isela are in this one.
